Trainwreck 1979 by Death From Above 1979

This was their first single that they released this summer prior to the album coming out.  The song starts out with Keeler’s trademark bass sound which bounces along driving the song forward.  Grainger’s vocals start off with the line “I was born – on a highway – in a trainwreck – with a heart – that was beating – outta my chest”.  The bass fades out as the chorus starts up, highlighting the drums and vocals along with background “woos”.  Trust me, it works musically.
